Interstate Battery Systems

If my alternator was-Fine-(mechanic said it again) and goes all the battery, charging, loadtest, it is OK?
Belt has been broken because A / C Compressor Seized and took the belt with it (He was still in the engine bay.) Im about to: 1) Have it checked AutoZone at full load / System Test … 2) Checked to get Interstate Batteries, their test, 3) Take good road 30 minutes drive. Is that everything is AOK? 1985 Jaguar XJ6 4.2L! 6, 151,993 miles, broke Alt belt due to seized A / C, nor in the car …
Is this the only reason you are worried about the alternator belt broke because when the A / C compressor seized? If so, set your mind to ease, there is nothing to fear. The problem is the compressor. The alternator is a completely different system, connected only because it is powered by the same belt. When the band broke, the alternator has stopped, as it would if you turned the engine. There has no more sense being worried the alternator there would have to worry about the release or radio.
