Aa Battery Charger 12v
Can I charge 2 AA batteries with my battery charger (with car adapter) connected to a 12V 2Ah?
If I connect my charger AA battery (with power adapter) to hold two AA 2600mAh batteries drained a fully charged 12v 2AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) battery, will fees altogether? Do I need a larger SLA? 7AH perhaps? Is there a formula? Where can I find these formulas?
2 amps-hours means you can unload at a rate of 2 amps for a maximum of 1 hour. Or 1 amp for 2 hours or 1 / 2 amps for 4 hours. Now you are 2600mah 2.6 amps-hours each, so you need 5.2 amps-hours to recharge. What seems more than the 2 ampere-hour lead-acid battery is. But ampere hours is a strange unit, used only for batteries, for publicity reasons. The unit should be real watt, which is a unit energy. You can get watt-hours by multiplying by the voltage of the battery. Thus, the lead battery holds 2 amp-hours x 12 = 24 watt-hours. The AA batteries of 2.6 ampere-hours are in fact 2.6 x 1.2 = 3.1 watt-hours so now it looks better, battery 24-watt-hours to charge from 2 to 3.1 watt-hours Batteries ($ 6.2 watt-hours). And you'd be fine, except for failures in the system. Especially in the charger, which can be 50% efficient. The charging-discharging of the batteries is 80% at best. So we actually have 24 x 0.5 x 0.8 = 9.6 watt-hours. But still higher than 6.2, but not by much. Given the uncertainties, such as effectiveness, I'll try first.
