Blackberry Battery Icon Yellow

Blackberry Curve issue notification?

I have a BlackBerry Curve and recently on top of an icon appears. It is mid-way between the battery meter and service bars. It is yellow and circular, but rather as an oval with a black line that runs through it diagonally. I think what might be in the circle (oval matter) is a bell, but I really do not think that's it. Nevertheless, an overview of this notification and to be great! And by the way, I've read in some other forums people asking a similar question where the icon is a smiley face. I know that this is certainly not because I do BBM, I have enabled.
