Battery Dell D420
my laptop does not load! Help?
for the last week or so my Dell D420 (I think) laptop is not charging its battery. The little light that indicates the charge does not ignite. (But I know it works because today I went to my sisters room to see if my assumption was that that was wasted, and charged for 2 minutes, then the light turned off.) I can use the computer fine if I plugged in, but once I unplug it off. Is there something wrong with my computer? In addition, it is not a new laptop
The battery may be defective. Check with Dell, they can have a program that can diagnose the condition battery. Some of these batteries have indicator lights on the battery. Remove the battery and check to see if there is a test button.
