Battery Charger Rc Car

RC Electric cars are better for the novice
One of the first decisions of the newcomer in the world of radio controlled cars is whether to buy an electric motor or nitro powered car.
In general, electric cars and radio controlled Trucks are the best choice for beginners because they tend to be simpler, quieter, cleaner and easier to use. The trade-off for this simplicity and ease of use comes in the form of cars that have no realistic scope and power of the radio controlled cars by nitro engines, but it is undoubtedly a wise decision to cut the teeth with an electric model before tackling the complexity of power nitro.
Electric radio controlled cars use battery packs to power the motor and steering and they are normally recharged using either a car battery or 12 volt AC power charger. Batteries are between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the type of engine in the car, and reloading usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes. For that reason it is strongly recommended that you buy at least two or three, the batteries are running to allow more or less continuously.
At first glance, radio controlled electric cars may seem a lot cheaper, but the cost of things like packs of extra batteries, a battery charger and other accessories you often make the final cost of a car close to that of the electric car nitro powered. Naturally, the long-term cost also depends on the model of car you buy and the type and quality of battery it needs, and how times you run the car.
The main difference between electric powered radio controlled cars and nitro is seen when it is maintenance. Although the cost of batteries can be high maintenance and maintenance is relatively easy compared to the work involved changing air filters, tuning, fueling and attend a variety of engine parts on a nitro powered car.
As mentioned above, radio controlled electric cars are not as powerful as their nitro powered cousins but, nevertheless, cars modern power are increasingly able to hold their own on the circuit. Perhaps more importantly for beginners, they provide a quick and easy to get up and running and learn the ins and outs of racing model, without the steep learning curve, and often frequent frustration for the newcomer, provided by the complex modern nitro engine.
Many beginners are tempted to buy a car nitro engine, because in addition to simply running and racing the car, they want to build their own car and mistakenly believe that this is possible only if the purchase a nitro powered vehicle. This is not the case.
Both nitro and electric powered cars come in kit form with instructions complete so that you can build your car from scratch. Of course, electric car kits are less complex and an electric car is easier to build, but this is not an easy task for the beginner and it is certainly a challenge.
At the end of the day the choice is your course, but, like many other hobbies, if you rush and try to achieve too much too soon, we often encounter a host of obstacles and frustration and eventually away feeling that it was perhaps not quite what it was cracked up to be. racing radio controlled car hobby is exciting and rewarding, but it takes time to master, so choose the simple route and enjoy the speed and fun of electric car racing before moving to the emotion and excitement that was added from the energy nitro.
