Acer Laptop Batteries Recalled

What is the notebook (laptop) marks the most to buy with more options? ?

Considering that "Black Friday" is close and I'm in the market for a new laptop, I wonder what brand would give me more options (specifications) for my money? Hear Acer society is good, but I do not know. I recently heard about Sony, Toshiba, and HP … batteries heating up, which resulted reminders. Suggestions??? All answers would be greatly appreciated Thanks!
